Visiting a Pumpkin Patch In the Fall, we visit the pumpkin patch! We visit in the Fall because all the pumpkins are done growing and ready to harvest. We might dress in warm clothes to visit the pumpkin patch since the weather is starting to cool. Since many people may be at the pumpkin patch enjoying the Fall day, I must stay with a safe adult so I don't get lost. Visitors might also take pictures with the pumpkins and we might take some too. The pumpkin patch has a lot of activities for us to do. They might have: - Hayrides - Corn mazes - Face painting We can also get some tasty treats like: - Apple cider donuts - Kettle corn - Hot chocolate I'll always wait my turn when taking pictures, doing activities, or buying snacks. If there's a pumpkin we like, we may harvest it with the special tools the farm gives us. After we harvest the pumpkin, we can pay for it and take it home.
