New Years Eve

Prepare your kiddo for a night of celebrations by sharing what they can expect on New Year's Eve!

New Year's Eve The last day of the year is December 31st.
We call this day New Year's Eve.
On New Year's Eve, we might go to a party late at night. We can get dressed up in fancy clothes and wear fun: - hats - glasses
- necklaces
We will stay up until midnight to count down to the new year.
If I get tired, I can ask to go to bed before the countdown.
Everyone will gather around the TV or the radio when the countdown begins.
Then we will start to countdown from 10.
If the countdown is too loud, I can wear earmuffs or headphones.
We countdown, "10, 9, 8, 7, 6, 5, 4, 3, 2, 1!"
And then everyone will yell, "Happy New Year!"
After the countdown, there might be colorful fireworks that fill the sky.
I can wear my sunglasses if they are too bright and earmuffs if they are too loud.
