Frequently Asked Questions
As a provider of services to children and young adults on the autism spectrum, we offer ABA (Applied Behavior Analysis). We are one of the few BCBA (Board Certified Behavior Analyst)-owned and operated providers!
Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) is an evidence-based treatment that is effective for people of all ages (from early childhood through adulthood). The goal of ABA therapy is to increase helpful, meaningful behavior and skills, and to reduce behavior that is harmful or negatively affects the individual.
ABA therapy can be offered in a variety of locations. While primarily clinic-based, BPI does also offer in-home therapy for clients. With locations in Illinois, and Texas, BPI strives to take our services where they are needed most.
RBT stands for Registered Behavior Technician. RBTs provide 1:1 ABA therapy under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA), in the home or clinic setting, with a goal of setting learners up for success by developing positive behaviors and life skills.
No experience is necessary for our entry level RBTs! We’ll provide you with the tools you need to succeed and help guide you through what ABA therapy means and how to interact with your learners. You’ll also have the full support of licensed professionals to help guide you. We do offer a variety of positions for those who have worked in the field and who have professional licensure, as well!
BPI’s corporate office is located in West Chicago, IL. We offer therapy services in Aurora, Oswego, Plano, Glen Carbon, Lake In The Hills, Springfield, and Champaign, IL, and Austin, TX.
We are an equal opportunity employer and all qualified applicants will receive consideration for employment without regard to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, pregnancy, age, national origin, disability status, genetic information, protected veteran status, or any other characteristic protected by law.
