Practicing fine motor skills while enjoying a creative craft with family is a great way to celebrate Mardi Gras! Using our template your kiddo can design their very own mask at home. Whether it's part of your yearly tradition or you're looking for something new to do on Fat Tuesday, this fun activity will allow your kiddo to work on expressing themselves creatively. What you'll need:
- Mask template
- card stock
- scissors
- string
- hole punch
- glue
- crayons or colored pencils - craft feathers - craft jewels Instructions:
1. Print the mask template on card stock and carefully cut the mask out.
2. Use the hole puncher on either side of the mask and secure the string making it long enough to tie around your kiddos face
3. Have your kiddo to color the base of the mask in any color or design they want.
4. Help them glue colorful feathers to the mask and finish off the look with craft jewels. 5. Once the glue has dried, tie the string around your kiddo's face and enjoy the celebration.
